KLM biz class vs Lufthansa biz class

Hi guys!

 

Going to Thailand again and this time around I will be flying business.

Recently flew KLM business class to Africa (AMS-ACC), but that was on a Airbus 330.

I know they use 747 on the AMS-BKK route, so do LH on the FRA-BKK rounte.

 

So what should I go for assuming the price is about the same on both airlines?

Have you considered China Airlines from AMS-BKK ?

Much better than KLM, cannot comment about Lufthansa.

LH is streets ahead in every department ....... except that it tends to be full of Germans.

LH is streets ahead in every department ....... except that it tends to be full of Germans. I don't know where you are travelling from but if it doesn't make a lot of difference to your travel plans, I would opt for LH out of MUC on their A340s rather than FRA on the 747s.

I have to agree the A340 has the new business class. Which is way head of the old 747.

Only problem I had was the Flight Attendant forgot I wanted to sleep the whole trip and woke me up for the food

Nah, the one out of MUC is full of Bavarians ...... much friendlier folk IMHO.

Lufthansa offer a better product but i found KLM much more helpful with seat requests. If you don't mind where you sit then go with LH every time but i would sometimes trade a slightly inferior service for a guranteed aisle seat.

AMS offers very good shopping but hasn't the best reputation for getting your luggage onto connecting flights if your transfer window is tight.

we booked EVA Air Amsterdam-Bangkok evergree nde luxe same as business class exept food is same as economy class. Paid 799,- plus taxes

As a Dutchman i would say Lufthansa is better,as overall service is better in germany.

About the luggage,most luggage which is lost at schiphol airport is from Brittish airways ,followed by all the other Brittish carriers,the problem is Londen heatrow.

Believe me it is no bullshit,this is part of my work,for the convenience there,s a special office beside luggage belt 2(used by BA)to handle the lost luggage.
