Cool thanks, I will check that hhafterdark website out.

I would still like to hear from some more board members who can recommend a place from first hand knowledge.

Thanks!

I have stayed at the City Beach Hotel in Hua Hin. It is very centrally located, guest friendly, is very comfortable and reasonably priced, around 1500 baht in november 2004 when I was there. You need look no further unless you want to spend more money.

I stayed in Hua Hin Hilton in the low season last year. Room is nice ; service is OK ; pool is superb ; Location is very central. This hotel got a nightclub with lots of FL ( mostly 6.5-8 out of 10 ) hanging around.

Overall a nice 5* hotel. In Asiarooms website, you can book at a rate of US$ 70+ during low season.

Thipurai about 1K baht, small rooftop pool. Guest friendly.

I have heard good things about Peony, I believe they have a webpage.

I also stayed at the Hilton. Very nice and great location but expensive. Personally I found the Marriott to be better value for the $.

I stayed in the City Beach Hotel last September. Paid 1600 B. per night, includes breakfast. No problems when taking girls back. It is a decent hotel.

If you havent been to Hua Hin before dont be expecting another Pattaya. There is a bar scene but restricted to one area and maybe no more than 50/60 bars. There are no Go-Go bars.

It is a nice place and ok if you are taking a lady with you. I intended spending 6 days there but missed the buzz of Pattaya so returned after 3 days.
