Private Swimming Pools

Could anyone give me an indication of the approx. annual running costs for a private swimming pool, wrt water,maintenance, cleaning costs etc.( About 30 cu.m) Not concerned with the building, installation costs which are covered. Ta in antic.

Recently visited a house with private pool. Owner said he has a maintenance contract covering daily cleaning, chemicals, etc for 1,500 Bht/month.

Don't forget to add in the additonal electric cost to run your pump.

A pool in Chateaua Dale (private attached to a house) costs an additional 9k per month on the rent for everything including cleaning.

My maintenance charge is 1800 baht per month which includes all chemicals and cleaning every 3 days.

When you ask about the water charges I assume you mean for the initial fill, which unfortunately I cannot help you with as my pool was full on purchase of house. There are no other monthly costs I can think of, except the odd time you have to top up due to evaporation (which your maintenance dude will do for you) and not something you really need to be worried about the cost of.

 

Water bill is approx 240 baht PM for a three bathroom home with pool

 

Electric bill is approx 2400 baht PM (general household) my pump is on for 6 hours daily

 

 

Forgot to mention that my maintenance charge also includes 24 hour security
