We all know how the first thing your newly aquired Thai girl is going to go for upon entering your hotel room is the TV remote control.

 

My son gave me a fake TV remote control that issues an electric shock when you press the on button. They drop it quick. I brought this along on my last visit and it works well. I just tell them that it must be broke and that I will have the hotel replace it and turn their interest to other areas.

Condition of barfining them is that the cell phone be turned off. Make that agreement up front before you pay the fine. After all, they are on your time once you barfine them.
