Cheap RT to LOS part 2

Recommended Posts

Gents

I did this post a bit ago

I will do again

I just booked 4 round trips Los Angeles to Bkk for @ $2,300 total

1 RT thai air LAX-BKK-LAX, return good 1 year

i will use this to get to BKK

I gotta get to BKK to use the tickets originating in BKK

3 RT BKK-LAX-BKK

i will use these to bet back and forth to US of A from LOS

booked thru an agent has a little booth on the street by email

these originate in BKK and i dont have to pay all the junk fees in USA

they are china air tickets

i have not paid for them, will pay in person in 38 days

Then just before my Thai air ticket expires, i hit the TG office in Patty and fly back to us of a

have not heard or read of anyone else doing this

worked for me last year pretty good

i dislike china air, preferr Thai, but it really knocks down air cost

Is that the airfare only? Airfares at that levels are not too rare. However, the taxes and fuel surcharge are now up to about $173 US Dollars per flight.

i have found several agents, Pattaya and Bkk that will book the tickets just for the volume

check around, the fuel surcharge in Los is a shitload better than US of A

my travel guy in the US of A

i am pretty sure he can book other departure cities other than USA

Sam at Econo Travel, speaks perfect english

310-671-2288

does a great job, last minute payment for tickets ( 1 week or so )

gets good prices on last minute bookings

doesnt get fxxked up about my many changes ( because of work )

also can do hotel/transpo packages

the email of my connection in Pattaya is at the office

will follow up

the china air ticket seem to be the cheapest around

look in the Bkk papers

If doing the deal, it makes sense to do it in Bkk as you can shop many places and get a bit better deal if buying multi tickets

If your flying that much within a year you could do better. I wind up paying less that that by flying with United. I pay for 2 and get the 3rd free plus have additional miles left over working for another freebie. You also get additional privileges such as additional baggage and use of the Red Carpet Lounge.
