I had a sudden opening to fly to Thailand ahead of schedule, I took it, emailed him the *night before*, and I was greeted and whisked to Pattaya by a driver named Manat. Good guy, nice volvo, beer in cooler in back.

 

Can't say it can happen all the time, but if the schedule is open, he WILL accomodate you. I can vouch for that.

With the beers and a stop at a convenience store, I paid the 1200 THB and tipped +300 THB. Great service, still cheaper than the rest.

 

And Pattaya is excellent. Had a wonderful night the night before.

I emailed Mr Toom today to see if he was available to transport me from BKK airport on 5 May. He responded in the affirmative almost immediately. If his driving service is as good as his response to my email I will be well pleased.
