Can some Reccomened a Place to Stay

HEy I am coming to Pattaya in Mid MAy and wondering if someone can reccomend a hotel to stay at that is close to the beach and close to the ACTION. I was hoping to spend about 650-700 Bth a nite. I have been doing some research but there is some many places and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I wold like the place to be short walk to the beach and to the Nightlife. I don't want to spend to much on taxis and such. I would like the place to have good food near too.

 

I know I am on a budget and that sux but it is life for me right now.

 

I hope yall can help me out and if you are there maybe we could meet and Id buy ya a beer or too for the info.

Try the Bella Vista between Soi 7 and 8. It's right in the middle of the action and plenty of places to eat close by. No pool, should cost you around 600 baht a night.

I stayed there in May 2004 and the cost was 600 a night and included breakfast. They are part of the Eastiny Group and Hub mentioned that when he stayed there you were allowed to use the pool at the nearby Eastiny Place.

Flipper Lodge Soi 8 is another good spot around the Beer Bar Soi's. Also look up Sunshine Residence on Soi 8. Both have pools on top of the usual amenities and are gtg for under 1000 baht, with discount during off season.

I want to thank you all for the many responces. I can't wait till I am able to get there. I decided to try out the Jasime Hotel and will post a reveiw after my stay. I just was looking at the location and price nad it fit into my plan. Plus the free use of computers with internet helped me as I am packing light and no laptop. I am just beside myslef with anticipation.

 

Thanks for all you comments and if I don't like the hotel I'll move to another one yall told about. But I am a pretty easy to please.
