A fishy Tale

An american evangelist was visiting Australia, and while he was walking along the hilltop near Sydney he spotted two blokes standing at the end of the cliff tugging on the end of a rope. anxious to see what they where up to, he walked to the edge of the cliff and peered down. and there, struggling amid the waves that crashed at the base of the cliff, was a New Zealander, one end of the rope was tied round his waist, and the two blokes on the clifftop where heaving away with all their might . but every time they hauled him out of the water, they dropped him back in again. The American Evangelist was most impressed with example of Aussie courage. "Thats what I call humanity" he told the two blokes,"For the brave deed you are both doing, I'm sure you'll go to heaven, Praise the Lord". As he turned to go away, one of the blokes turned to the other and said," who the hell was that?" "Oh," said his mate, " I've seen him on telly, he's one of them preachers,knows all about the bible, and christianity and all that" "well" said the other bloke," he might know all about Christianity, but he know's bugger all about Shark fishing.
