Stayed here twice at christmas and also during Songkran to escape the water fights. Great hotel with 3 restaurants, 3 pools and girlfriendly.

How much did that set you back?

I agree that the Sheraton is now THE BEST of Pattaya surpassing the old Royal Cliff and definitely the Marriott. My only complaint with the Sheraton is the fact that the beach does not have a water's edge for their beach. It is a sheer drop if you want to hit the water... :beer

I hope they spend the money and create a beach for families with children......

Bestmate, thanks for posting the prices.

Interesting but I would object to any sort of joiner fee - it's a nasty, opportunistic money grab that masquerades as respectability in the face of the overwhelming reality of Pattaya and their customers' needs.

Ok here is the deal with the Sheraton....If you call or email the hotel then they will tell you there is a joiner fee but i think this is just to put people off bercause they want to keep the hotel looking as respectable as possible.

In reality, they don't charge a joiner fee or at least i have never been charged to bring in a guest. What i do is that i make sure the girls i barfine dress decent like regular girls would, so that means no micro mini skirts, overly revealing outfits or crazy tatoos which are a turn off for me anyway. Also i would never take any loud, drunk bargirl to the Resort. They do insist on the girls having ID and will not let her in without one.

However i once had a non-bar girl come down from Bkk to visit and the hotel did not ask her for ID so i guess a non-bar girl, girlfriend or a regular bargirl staying more than one night is exempt from the ID check.

  • 4 weeks later...

I've been at the Sheraton 3 nights now, and can confirm there's no problem bringing back TG's.

Just don't bring them through reception.

I've been getting the baht bus to drop me off just outside the entrance, and then walking down the Golf cart pathways which lead to the pool & rooms.

My TG was only asked for an ID card once, and so far, I haven't been charged a Joiner fee.

The hotel really is the Dog's Bollox, especially the bigger rooms with the outdoor "Sala", which is like a big Gazeebo overlooking the Ocean.

I've had no problem getting Baht busses to and from Walking street for 100bht.

For the quality of the Hotel, I think it's a bargain.

To quote Ferris Bueller.... "if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. It's SO choice!"

I stayed here once and agree that it's a lovely hotel. I believe I paid $119USD in January. It's expensive for Pattaya, but you couldn't get a hotel this lovely in the West for that price.
