What days were bars closed during King celebration

Does anyone in town know what days the bars were closed during the Kings Celebrations?

Can only speak for myself but I did not close

Nothing closed anywhere any time and alcohol was sold and served as usual

 

friday was a national holiday

 

monday and tuesday just holidays in BKK

 

So many girls in bars especially in BKK went home over this extra long weekend.

Bars never closed but there was one day(may have beeen Friday) when all the girls including on Soi 6 wore the yellow t-shirts and candles were lit on the bars. I was glad that was only for one day as no sexy outfits on display!

As if there weren't enough threads about prospective bar holiday closings, now we get one on retrospective closings!!

How about Bangkok? On another wbsite they were stating that the bars were closed in Bangkok on Saturday and they are supposed to be closed Mon and Tuesday (June 19-20) too?

 

This info would be nice to put in my calendar for future trips if they fall under the Kings Celebration Holiday.
