Hi Guys

How difficult is it for a Thai national to obtain a visa to visit the USA on a tourist basis.

What is the process involved?

Thanks in advance.

Next to impossible!....took my wife two years just to get a fiance visa and we had kids together! they must prove that they have a VERY strong reason to return back to Thailand i.e. real estate, excellent career (bar girls will never get one), and the list goes on and on...Best advice is to forget it!

Unfortunately this is true. Unless you have a hi so girl, a girl with her own house, and a good career in Thailand the assumption from most Western nations is the girl will do a runner and not come back. Particularly with BG's once they figure out they can make 10 times as much doing the same job here.

Sheesh, guys! Don't be so negative. Yes, a Tourist Visa can be done. I did it about a year and a half ago. It is correct that it must be shown the lady has compelling reasons to return to Thailand. And having said that, I also had an advantage that she wasn't a 22 year old Go-go dancer. My lady is mature, but still 26 years younger than I.

Take time to read the regulations....and do the required paper work. No short cuts...they just don't work. My lady spent two months with me in the States. And we hope to do it again when I return to the States to take care of the tax bull-shit in April.

Good luck!
