You will need to get a copy of your passport certified by a solicitor(all pages) this will not cost much.

You will need your mortgage statements or rent book.

Payslips for about 6 months

Bank statements for 6 months.

Evidence that you have known the lady for at least 6 months(e-mails,letters,phone records etc..)

You could also try and put some money in her bank account.

Basically you have to prove that she has a place to stay and funds to spend when here. Even better get here a return ticket.

You need a letter saying you will sponsor her stay in the country. Unless she is loaded and she can prove that she can take care of her self.

Send everything in with the application form and you should be ok. I might have missed something. So go thru this site very carefully. It has everything you need to know.I don't think you need anything translated you are applying to the British Embassy not the Thai one.

Get your paperwork correct and you should be fine.

Good Luck.
