Need feedback how much would you pay or wouldnt you

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I am interested to know for my feasibility study on a new venture we are looking at. I know timing is not good given these new darn visa laws.

For those of you that need to do the monthly visa run to the boarder it does become a real chore month after month last tip I took was a nine hour arduous journey. The mini bus I was on was full.

My question to you is what would you be prepared to pay to go by 14 sealer helicopter aprox 50 mins there and 50 mins back.

We are getting close to bringing a chopper over , initially for passenger service from the new airport (cannot spell it) when my last nine hour trip gave me the idea a twice daily service for visa runs might be a better concept.

Anyone know or know where I can find out how many folks actually do a visa run daily from Pattaya there are dozens of buses going up every day and everyone I have been on has been full as with the guys I have asked all say the bus they take is invariably full.

Thoughts , comments, ideas needed we know how much we need to charge to cover costs but we will want to show a profit , so what will the market stand ? What would you pay ?

Thanks for any input guys.

A few years ago I enquired about costs for a helicopter transfer from Don Muang to Pattaya and was quoted something like Bt90,000 one way ! Apart from the airport, which itself is some 30/40 minutes out of town, you only have the Royal Cliff and presumably cannot land there if not staying.

The idea is a non starter I'm afraid, not only for cost but because visa rules have changed.

Do a trip to Hua Hin or somewhere you cannot fly to from Pattaya and you may have an occasional "business man" service.
