I need some help installing software

I need some help installing a copy of Autodesk Map 3D onto my computer. There are two parts of the carack instructions that I do not understand.

 

Step 3. import network_lic.reg to your reg

 

And, the next to the last part in step 5.

 

in Path to the debug log file browse :

'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\debug.txt'

 

*****make the debug .txt into 'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\'*****

The crack instructions read as follows.

 

unzip to your hardrive then run setup.bat

 

then

 

1.) install, when you need a serial use 111 20111111

 

2.) copy adlmdll.dll and acad_tbe.dat to <Installation Directory>\Autodesk map2007\and overwrite the original

 

3.) import network_lic.reg to your reg

 

***. Setup Flexlm License Server with the files in the supplied FlexLM directory.

 

4. Copy acad_tbe.lic to C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager

 

5. run lmtools and select 'configuration using service' - then go to 'config services'tab make your service name

 

in Path to lmgrd.exe file browse :

'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\lmgrd.exe'

 

in Path to the license file browse :

'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\acad_tbe.lic'

 

in Path to the debug log file browse :

'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\debug.txt'

 

*****make the debug .txt into 'C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\'*****

 

click use service and start server at PowerUp Then Save Service

 

6. go to 'start/stop/reread'tab and click start server

 

7. close lmtools

8. Start Program,

Do you have a friend who know more about computers than you? You see, reg = registry and it's not a good idea of doing anything in the registry if you don't know exactly what you're doing, if you make a mistake you can lose all information on the pc.
