Don,t know about xmas my friend but having a job to find flight for June,

which is low season with not so many bargains around as past years.

So far Qatar at £444 and Eva non stop at £469 that,s about it.

Anyone know of anything cheaper from Heathrow or Gatwick,

Would like 9th June to 26th June.

It's a piss-take trying to find a flight for Dec. I'm in the same process as you and it's proving a struggle Last year I booked up for Dec in Apr, and got myself a deal for £390 But this year with all the taxes and and the time of flying will be excessive in terms of price. At the moment, the cheapest I have found has been £700! I'm still holding out for a cheaper price than that though.

Try in London , still have flights around £480-500 mark

esp with Etihad Air. not bad for Xmas period

Ranger, the dates are critical. I remember sombody talking about the 15.12 as cut-of date. After that you dont get the low prices.

 

For last Xmas I bought mine in july from Westeast travel with Ehitad on the 6.12.

 

I got a E-mail with offers starting at 376pounds wich went pretty quick and paid 445pounds with everything. Ticket, 2% CC charge and postal delivery to Iceland.

 

If you have not already, register for E-mails from the travel companies.

If you had dates in mind, why not post them?

Valentinoxxx,ive found cathay pacific for £538 through travelbag

which I think is good for the given dates,could you please tell me

other offers you`ve seen in the £550 region.

 

Taltos,ive signed up with westeast for the email alert,but nothing

for the last 6 months or so has been sent out,just applied again

and had a message already registered, so I do not think ive missed

anything from them.

 

I have found in past years that by going on christmas eve the flights

can be a lot less than other dates around that period, since some

people do not want to be traveling on christmas day this is not

a problem for myself.

£538 with Cathay is good. Prolly best to stick with that if you're happy with the dates and connection times.
