I did Songkran on Soi 8 once and it is not for the faint of heart. Great fun as long as you're in the spirit of things - which means expect to be wet from Noon to sunset for a week.

 

It has it's drawbacks, but the cute Thai girls in wet t-shirts and wet short shorts help make up for the bad parts.

Wish I could have prolonged my March holiday........

 

Although Songkrang isn't my favourite thing, it is great to see

 

the girls having fun !
