Found this on a hotel booking website:

IMPORTANT :

The hotel plans to renovate Building A from June 1 till October 31, 2007. The renovation will take place from 8am till 6pm daily. During this period, there will be a loud noise which might sometimes disturb guests in the Hotel.

 

If you were planning on staying there during the above timeframe, you may want to rethink your plans.

They told me they were renovating when I e-mailed to book so at least they are advising people.
