Greetings all, a friend of mine in Pattaya is looking for work. I said I would ask on here.

Anyway she is 24 years old and from Manila. She now lives in Pattaya.

I have her CV to hand .

If you may be able to help please PM me.

Thanks

I can't help thinking why is a Filipina looking for work in Pattaya? Tourist? Lives there? How?

Doesn't she need a work permit or visa?

And with all the other 10,000 Thai women in town looking for a job, this can't be an easy quest.

You mean a legit job? As in "not for P4" or singing at the Royal Garden?

It's pretty much illegal on her part. She'd need a work permit, which she wouldn't get for any of the jobs you mention. In fact, on the tiny amount of info presented so far, she wouldn't even get a visa extension past a month or two.

Just curious, but why does she live in Pattaya?

Maybe the wife of one of the many filipino english teachers (some say more filipino english teachers than farang now in Thailand), else I've seen filipinos and filipinas working in big hotels like Shangri La as entertainers - music bands.

Loads of jobs in pattaya. just look around.. mostly want good English speakers

This is not helpful. She is Filipina. Pattaya is in Thailand. She doesn't seem to have a work permit or a visa according to the tiny bit of information so far provided. Employing an illegal immigrant in a restricted occupation is not going to do much for the future of those Pattaya premises that want English speakers.
