I read on another forum that the Marriott was guest friendly and had a back entrance. Can anyone verify that?

Can verify that both Marriott's in BKK and the Pattaya one are guest friendly.

 

Hear the odd story of guards trying to scam punters at the Pattaya Marriott.

 

A smile and small tip to your favorite guard could buy a lot of weight. If pain persists, demand to speak to the general manager.

 

Four-five star hotels don't make it a habit to piss off their guests.

Outstanding hotel, superb location and real 5 star service. I stay in the Marriott with my wife so never get any problems but I am sure that they are guest friendly.

A few years back when i stayed, it was called The Royal Garden then, they charged bt 500 a night to take guests back. Looks like things might have changed with the name!!

I just stayed there in May and had absolutely no problems bringing in girls to the hotel. The guards were very friendly and only asked for the girls ID. They didn't even bat an eye when I brought multiple girls at once to the room. I really did enjoy staying there and I will most likely stay there again. The back entrance is kind of hard to find, at least for me it was. If coming from Walking Street, you will pass by the mall and the McDonalds and it should be right at the end of the malls outside lower food area. You will see a small walkway going in and a small sign that says Marriott. Have fun.
