Bangkok with GF?

I will be staying in Bangkok for a few days with the GF before going down to Krabi.

 

I know the mongering hotels on Suk ... but since I have a GF with this time I would rather stay in a different location away for the P4P areas. This gives me a chance to check out some other areas especially since she is a non bar girl.

 

The place needs to be near the skytrain or subway for easy access. We will probably do the tourist thing for a few days. Something nice in the 2000 or 2500 baht range would be good. Just looking for a nice room... a pool or other amenities does not matter.

 

Any suggestions?

Check out the Twin Towers Hotel close to MBK and the Sky-Train but away from the nite life. I've stayed there a few times with my family and highly recommend it.

I fully support this recommendation....if you can get in... so "Book early".

 

It is just accross the road for Platinum and Panthip Plazas and a short walk to HJB ( Thats Henry J Beans not Hand Job Bar as a friend first thought!!) in the Amari Watergate.
