Hi Boardies....am looking to return to LOS for a min 6 week stay...wish to gather suggestions on avail accom options for up to 22-24k baht pm....want mthly rate, reas size room, AC, in room safe, cable tv, balcony if poss, fridge, queen bed(min), no fuss guest policy, easy 24 hr access and central location....not too much to aks for I hope....Jboy

the real question is do you want a hotel, or an apartment?

sounds like you want both.

apartments can be had in that price range, but then you need to pay electrio/water and no room service/maid, six weeks also puts you off as some apartments are "per month".

hotels will generaly negotiate long term stays in the 400-700bt range and you have all the ammenits as pool, maids room service, location and added securtiy.

RB...u r more right than u think...the added service can make all the difference...guest friendly is important too so thats a key issue, free wifi is reasonably important but also the location so thanks anyway...more info will come Im sure.....

Nice rooms. Especially the talay 5 room. Will keep you in mind for future trips. Look filled up for my oct 24 through Dec 5 trip. later...Doorman!

If you're butterflying as much as you did last trip then I'd suggest a serviced apartment over a condo. If you're going to stick with one lady for most of your trip (and have her clean, do some laundry, cook, etc.) then a condo would be ideal.

 

As for location, I'd suggest trying another. If you got to see a lot of Soi Buakhao on your last trip then why not try another area? It's fun to explore and find places that you like.

Stinger, please u might ruin my reputation,,,,,the condos suggested actually have maid service, laundry, pool etc on site so that may still work out ok...Im waiting on a quote from PBR too to be fair as they were great, I have a desire however too "date" one of the girls there so thats a good enough reason to find myself another place to stay!!....anyway with so much talent and so little time I need guest friendly policy to be in order as well...these places dont have an issue with that....regards to u and thanks for suggestions...Jboy
