Schipol Airport - Amsterdam

Now that Schipol airport has a ban on smoking in the terminals, I believe that you have to now go outside.

 

If I where to go outside how long on average does it take to go through security and passport control to get back to the gates.

 

I wouldn't want to miss my flight to LOS for the sake of a cigarette.

It depends, your stuff and you get scanned at the gate so you only really have to worry about passport

control and be in the right Q and that can take between 5 -20 minuets +you have to get to the gate and

that can take another 20 minuets [also the bars and restaurants become non smoking from July 1].

Only smoke half that amount. but I reckon it would be about 50 lt with bg

Not to sure about this but it might work.

 

Upstairs in the main terminal there is a outside viewing area located just along from the kids play area, not sure if you would be allowed to smoke out there as I suppose you are technically airside. It might be worth asking and would save going though security etc etc.
