Just in contact with a new suite hotel - Merisses Suites of Soi 16 in BKK - runs off Asoke on the Soi 18 side, next to Foodland. Got a quote for 1700 baht net for a deluxe suite(30 Sq meter) and 1900 baht for Premier Suite(35 sq meter) Includes breakfast. site: www.merisess.com

 

Just opened recently, got fairly quick response(less than 1 day) Probably about 10 minutes or less walk to Cowboy, with Skytrain and new skywalk closer.

I stay regularly at the serviced apartments directly opposite this place and have watched it go up from scratch. Like several of the so-called boutique hotels that have sprung up around lower Sukhumvit over the last few years. the place looks good but the actual building standards and general workmanship are awful. I'd be wary about initially booking more than a day or two at the place until I'd satisfied myself that they had sorted out the works. If they have, the prices reflect good value for the area and as the OP pointed out. it's only about a five minute walk to the new skytrain link at Exchange Tower on Asoke junction.
