Rooms are furnished for function rather than comfort. Attitude leaves a lot to be desired.

I can agree with that. A simple couch in the living room would be a major improvement.

They've been full the last couple of times I checked in high season, but the info sheet they gave me was hilarious. It says in black and white" we do not cater to homosexuals and politely suggest that they go somewhere where their needs are better understood". I know a couple of guys who stay there every year and they love it.

I stayed there a few years ago and enjoyed it. Lots of room, full kitchen and everything worked.

I actually had a look at 3 types of romms yesterday. Functional rooms, a little worn but the price for the area was great. I have had to catch a handful of baht buses in 2 weeks. If they don,t cater to homosexuals they may want to revisit the reception staff hiring policy.

Can I add that at the moment they are renovating few rooms and are noisy bastards. They have woken me up a couple of times this week as I am staying at the Sandy Springs. Luckily I had a BG next to me to stop me being scared.

I HAVE STAYED AT THE CRAB ABOUT 12 TIMES GREAT PLACE ,WELL PLACED AND QUIET AT NIGHT UNLESS THE FIREWORKS ARE GOING OFF . THE STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREAT AND THE CLEANING GIRLS UNDERSTAND WHEN YOUR HAVING A LIE IN .THERES EVERYTHING YOU WANT ALL AROUND YOU .I HAVE STAYED ALL OVER PATTAYA AND THIS BEATS THE LOT FOR ME + THE NIGHTPORTER IS A COOL HALFBACK .IM BACK THERE IN APRIL SO IF YOUR STAYING AT THE CRAB SAY HELLO IM THE ONE WITH A SMILE LOL
