I've been fighting a system slowdown around 5pm (GMT+7) several days of the week. Today, I had to stop the forum twice between 5pm and 6:30pm.

Sorry if you were affected by this double outage.

 

The forum will be moving to a faster server sometime during the next month, so hopefully, performance will improve.

Yes has been a little slow but no massive problem for me just thought it was my PC

Must be contagious. One of the other forums had a similar problem.

I'll be doing some file operations on the web server tonight (as I have already been doing), that will be slowing the system down. At times, I might have to stop the forum for a while as well.

Had a small problem getting on the board earlier (09.30ish ) UK time “to many users” don’t know if this is related but just to keep you informed…………… not a complaint.

Sorry...I had to stop the forum again. I'm trying to transfer files to the new server while keeping the forum running, but it's just too much for the old processor we are currently running on.

Another outage today. I didn't fix it because I was out shopping. Should be okay now.

Still working on the server transfer. It's getting closer, but there will still be some down time while I transfer more files later this week (I hope).

This server is giving me fits. Tonight, about 1:30am local time, it went into a heavy spin that blocked all access to the forum. Unfortunately, I was out with my GF, her mom, and some other Thais from the village, and had to take them back to their hotel before getting where I could fix it.

So, I estimate there was a 2 hour outage from about 1:30am-3:30am local time here on March 17. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be moving to a new server before April 15. The move is going bit by bit.
