Just heard on the news... Delta and United are cutting international flights by 15%. this is due to falling 1st and business class ticket sales. Looks like cattle class will get even more uncomfortable. It is another reason not to fly on american flagged airlines.....

No,Delta is NOT cutting back 15%-just an add'l 10% beginning in September.Delta has already downgraded the equpment on the Northwest flight between Tokyo and Bangkok from an A330-200 to a 757.The A330 will fly US to Europe where the yields are higher.Oh,and they're ADDDING a 747-400 from Atlanta to Tokyo in addition to the 777-200 already flying that route.Oh and the new service on Delta between JFK and Tokyo too....

And you logic not to fly an US carrier is humorous.DO you think foreign flagged carriers aren't cutting back either?
