SHOOT THE MOON PARTY with The Rock Machine and Hip Hop DJs

at Pattaya's LivePlay, Asia's Largest Outdoor Laser Tag Arena,

Saturday, 11 April, 6-10pm

LivePlay, Pattaya's new ten-rai laser tag battlefield, invites everyone to experience its first SHOOT THE MOON PARTY Saturday, April 11th from six to ten pm.

This is the first of a new series of monthly parties ever Saturday after the full moons at LivePlay. Watch for international bands and local favorites over the next few months.

During the April Full Moon -- while upcountry Thaiand celebrates Songkran (Pattaya celebrates Songkran the following weekend) -- Live Play will lay out a spread of Thai-Mex Barbecue and bottomless kegs of Heineken Draft for an evening of live music and DJs and dancing and laser games.

Pattaya's Top Rock band The Rock Machine will perform (from Walking Street's Blues Factory) in a classic rock concert; DJ Bee, will follow with mash ups and hip hop hits, while Pattaya's custom car clubs will provided coyotes dancing on wooferized hot rods -- the cars that go BOOM; Heineken will provide Prettys; Bangkok's best break-dance crew will entertain; and Pro Am Laser Games led by Live Play's staff stuntmen will be open to all.

Admission to the SHOOT THE MOON PARTY is 300 baht, all in, for Beer Barbecue Rock HipHop & Laser Guns. (100 baht for visiting naval personnel).

The SHOOT THE MOON PARTY kicks off with those laser guns and great live music, that beer and barbecue, DJs and coyote dancing, and then more laser guns, at 6pm. It will end at 10pm sharp.

Asia's only Outdoor Laser Tag Arena and Thailand's only certified laser tag facility, LivePlay is located a few minutes out of Pattaya on Sukhumvit Road, across from the Elephant Camp and just past the Floating Market.

LivePlay is designed and groomed by Nong Nooch Gardens' team of landscapers. It's expansive laser-tag battlefield buttresses a Great Lawn reception area, a full Bar and Grill and a quiet balcony cafe. It's the coolest and newest place to meet new friends.

Like paintball without the paint, bruises or pain, LivePlay's laser tag pumps up your adrenaline with war games realism. Safe and fun for all ages and genders, it's easy to play (but hard to master).

Players of LivePlay's laser games emulate tactical combat drills in a sort of live-action first-person-shooter video game using computerized ray guns. Think Star Trek's phasers or Star Wars blasters. Now imagine infrared microwave machine guns. Try out the Scorpion, the

Commando, the Pulse Rifle and the Morita, LivePlay's exclusive weaponry imported from Australia.

LivePlay's laser tag is a child's play begun as military training war game. Tag your it. Zap your dead. So shoot the Moon at SHOOT THE MOON: And maybe even improve your accuracy skills for later use in those Songkran water-pistol battles.

The SHOOT THE MOON PARTY coincides with four US Navy ships docking at Sattahip Naval Base, and is held with the encouragement of the Navy League of the United States, Eastern Seaboard Council

The SHOOT THE MOON PARTY starts at 6pm and ends at a reasonable 10pm. LivePlay will have baht bus shuttles leaving every 15 minutes to and from LivePlay on the Beach Road in front of The Hard Rock Hotel.

(Fun Fact: Ten rai is 16,000 square meters, more than three acres, more than four football fields, and 1,600,000 square feet: It's a big playing field.)
