Does anyone know whats happening with Blue Moon on LK Metro?

I have started planning my next trip and the budget is gonna be a bit tight. I stayed at Blue Moon in a standard room last year and it was fantastic value for money. I have tried the website but it has been down for ages. I heard Alan had sold up but I dont know if the new owner is still running the bar and rooms or if they are changing to something else.

I would be grateful for any info on this. I know there are lots of options on LK Metro, I have checked them out and have a few options in mind but I would like the option to find out about Blue Moon first.

I stopped there last xmas week ,only place on Soi LK I could find available as I had not made any pre bookings.

New owner then from Norway I think.

 

Rooms very cheap think I only paid 400 bhts night,also this was xmas week ,but very basic rooms i thought.

But new owner was a very nice and helpful guy.

He even let me use his electic kettle for the week.

Yep, just tried the website and its down like you said. I didnt hear he had sold up. I will ask elsewhere and find out whos bought it and if they have a website.

Dropped by yesterday and was told that "same same" owner as the Drunken Duck.

I went to the Drunken Duck and here's the info from the card.....

thanks for your help guys, i had a great time when i stayed there last year. was a great price and really clean. at least there are plenty of other options in that soi.

I was there earlier this year it was being run by a Norwegian guy called Oysten ,he told me he was going to fill it with Norwegian oil men,but it looks as if that has changed.
