Returning in November and am very tempted to book this place. The only recommendation I've had is from 1 member hence my hesitation.

I realise that it is not very well positioned and therefore somewhat reliant on moto/taxi to return in the evening.

Would be grateful for ANY info about place and surrounding area, from members who might have stayed there!

Thanks

I have a friend currently staying there. As you say a bit far from the action, and you actually need to plan ahead if you will go out for the night. Usually motorbike taxis will be there within 5-10 mins, but sometimes you have to wait longer.

The place itself looked OK enough, but for the price I would have picked somewhere more central. I think my friend pays 21K/month for his corner apartmenet, which has a kitchenette and separate bedroom. The rooms have small TVs and the TV-connection isn't the best either, so my friend bought

a new TV and ordered a new line from Sophon (with sport channels).

The one thing that will bugger you the most though is that the area is mosquito infested. When I drove my bike from the resort and took the back way so

I ended up at the road to Jomtien I must have swallowed at least a kg of them.

The pool area and security looked OK though. From what I could hear there were many french staying there. The place was also raided by the police cos some french lads had a "drug party" with some thai ladies (ref pattayaone.net) a few months ago.
