Ricky's 61st Birthday Party

It is that time of year again and Ricky is one year older.

 

We will be throwing a party for him to celebrate his 61st birthday in style this Sunday at babydolls and as usual it will include lots of good food supplied by Palmers and some special Babydolls games.

 

We hope if you are in town you can come and join us as it should be a great night.

 

The fun and games start at 8pm. Terry Lee might even make it if he is not on holiday again.

Ricky is indeed one of my favourite managers in Pattaya. In many bars you go in you are just not aware that there is a manager there at all. He is normally the one spending his time drinking himself into oblivion and you will assume that he is just another customer.

 

Not Ricky. He spends his time walking round checking that everyone is OK and greeting everyone with warmth, humour and natural good charm.

 

I remember on one occasion when I and my party spent quite a lot of money in Baby Dolls on Sangsom and coke. One of us got so into things that he donned one of the girl's outfits and danced on the tables. Rather than throwing us out Ricky rewarded the effort with a free round of drinks.

 

Definitely hope that he is not aiming to retire any time soon.

Whatever the date please pass my best wishes onto Ricky as he is a champion and helps make Patts what it is, what sets it appart and why you never need feel lonely when your on your own. I say this not just from the Baby Doll era but going back a while.
