Help, can someone please give me the name, address, phone, number, email of a shop that sells walking aids [wheel chairs, walkers, crutches] in Pattaya/Jomtien area. Possibly on Sukhumvit I'm told.

Am I the only one that thought this topic was something completely different?

lol.

Sorry.

Yes, there is a shop, but not on Sukhumvit (well, there might be one there too!)..

Facino (sp?) is one of the largest pharmacy chains here... orange and green sign. They have a very large medical supply store (and pharmacy) on North Pattaya Road... if I remember right its opposite Tesco. Its been a long time since I ride up that way (while paying attention), but it used to be there and had just about everything in stock. We went in one time and they even carry nebulizers and O2 machines (my mother was considering a visit so we had to check).

Its a good place... should take care of all your "Aids" needs :)

If its just a walker you need... you can probably steal one from one of the girls at World Wide Agogo while their holding on to a pole. Am sure they have to park them somewhere while dancing  :D :D

No you aren't. I thought it was like "walking pneumonia".

For the OP, I have nothing to add (yet).

Most hospitals have walkers and canes for sale. I needed a cane for a short period of time last year as I was having sciatic nerve problems. Bought a good quality aluminum cane at Pattaya International Hospital on Soi 4. Not expensive.

Happy to say I don't use it anymore. But....you never know.

There's a shop on Thepprasit road that sells the sort of equipment your looking for.

As you turn into Thepprasit road from the Sukhumvit road the shop's about halfway down on your right hand side. When you pass the Honda motorbike shop on your left it's a couple of hundred metres on your right.

  • 3 weeks later...

you could ask it in bangkok pattaya hospital, they have rehabilitation medicine there and they should know the best places for these things. Thai crutches suck lol ( at least the one they gave me lol)
