  • 1 year later...

My mate just booked with them at the last minute for a three month return, departed UK on the 23rd November returning 21st February, he paid 475 quid. He spoke very highly of them, and managed to get his smoke in Muscat Airport somewhere, which is a deal clincher for him.

This is his trip itinerary to save 80 quid, better him than me. Bus from Peterhead to Aberdeen 1hr 15 mins, transfer in Aberdeen approx 1hr, National Express bus to Heathrow 11.5hrs, transfer in Heathrow 15hrs approx, then Oman Air to Bangkok with approx 3hrs in Muscat. He was then going to get the bus to Pattaya but found a taxi share mate on the flight to Bangkok, so 600 baht to Patters.

This all to save 80 quid, on a return Aberden/Heathrow flight, as I said better him than me. :bhappy

Regards

It shouldn't put you off ... 14.5 hours outbound and 18 hours on the return.

Hmmm... thats not bad at all.

Flights i looked at seemed to last for ages!!!

Looking to spend £100 pound less than that though this time, gonna try Sri Lankan for £450 18hrs out and 20 hrs back to London(unless there is any REAL bad negative feedback on them)

I did start a topic on them but no replies yet.

Checked out skytrax and didnt see any Lon>Bkk reviews on Sri Lankan so may have to take a gamble.

Cheers for info though Tom
