yeah, i know about Songkran, i was thinking of going after the fesivities had ended, looks fun but i dont think i could stick that over a period of days.

I would if I were you. It annoys the fuck out of me and many expats piss off north or out of the country as well.

 

Flight prices go up during songkran but come straight down after so flights should be a lot cheaper.
