Just a heads up on some amazing prices for amari orchid and marriott pattaya, if you stay 4 nights you get another 4 free up to 31st october working out at amari £23 and marriott £39 for double rooms.

My question is are they trustworthy? because i have never heard of them before and usually stay in places that are booked but not paid for until you leave.

Always wanted to see how the other half live and have a chance at these prices but got that nagging feeling that says if something seems too good to be true it usually is.

Any advice would be grateful

I will watch this kev, be nice like you as say, to see how the the other half live.

I would suspect they would prefer that amount of money, than nothing.

Just had a look at Amari, can't see those prices you quoted, when asked they said it was way above the one you mentioned?

I can promise you that if you go on their site and type in required dates then the price (at least in october when we are going) is £23 if you stay 8 nights as thats where you get full benefit from 4 nights free.

still wondering if anybody has had any dealings with this company?

cheers

It's a bog standard offer that, in the case of the Amari, has been available from most reputable UK travel agents for the last 20-odd years (slightly less for the Royal Garden Resort/Marriott).

As for the Company, it's part of the Global Travel Group. Plenty of info about them online.

If you're travelling as a couple, they do. The problem usually arises when your "guest" isn't actually named on the reservation submitted by the agent.

And it is hard enough to remember the names, let alone pronounce them. :kissing

Stayed at Amari a couple of years ago. 1,000b guest policy was strictly enforced. I tried coming in the hotel from the gardens at the beach road end of the property and dropped the security guard a couple hundred bhat. Ten minutes after entering my room was a knock on the door. Reception staff wanted me to sign a chit for 1,000b guest fee.

If it has changed this would be a good offer.

Anyone stayed recently???
