Hi, looking for any info on hotels or guesthouses in Jomtien Beach area

 

Looking for a place overlooking beach with balcony and also swimming pool on site

 

Budget is up to 1500 Baht per night

 

Any info appreciated

Den be carefull about Jomtien area as i made the mistake of booking into a hotel there for 1500bt a night and found the place over-run with Ruskies. Loud mouths and real ignorant types thats the women aswell. Seems a lot of hotels in that area have the same problem.

Dont bother mate, unless your a Ruskie ofcourse lol

Mermaid, Jomtien Thani, Silversand, Seabreeze and Sarita Chalet are about 1000-1500 bahts with pool and not too much russian people.

Just a note about the Jomtien Thani. It used to be the Royal Jomtien Hotel where 81 people died in a fire there in 1997. Bothers some people.

Was the the Royal Jomtien in fire, not Jomtien Thani, today Jomtien Palm beach.

Most of the Russians have gone home.

 

Regarding the Russians, I find that they keep themselves to themselves, never see them fighting, arguing or causing trouble.
