Current construction ... between PBR and Areca... in the small lot next to PBR.

 

The next one looks to be in the empty lot next to Areca... eventually... they have a storefront shilling punters to put money down... lol

I had head they were going to build some "townhouses" on that lot - fortunately I book a room at the other end of the building....

 

They had the shopfront on the plot next to Areca last August when i was there. Not sure how much they were going for...!!!

Well, I've just spotted a change on the PBR website. The monthly rate for a standard room has gone up by 2,000 Baht - almost 15%. The charge for extra nights has increased too - it was a flat 500 a night, it's now pro-rata'd from the monthly price.

 

Still good value, but that's quite a price hike.
