Best transportation from BKK at 2am?

M flight arrives at 1:40am and by the time I'm thru customs reckon will be 2:30am. At that hour  :-/, what are my options to get to Pattaya from the airport?

 

Limo, taxi, bus, ekamai?????

I usually arrive in BKK at 12 AM.  I recommend staying in BKK for the night and catching the first bus in the morning from Ekkamai Station.  Besides, if you were to get a ride to PTY from BKK at 2 in the morning, you would get there at about 3am to 4am.  Not a lot to look and see that late at night.

 Akr, as Ryu said best bet may be staying in Bkk. If your flight arrives at 1:40 and you high tail it you can probably get out of the airport by 2:15 which means bt the time you get to your hotel and check in it will probably be 2:45. Only real options at that time are Thermae or the Grace but the best pickins will be gone by then.

 I arrived late one trip and just grabbed a car to Pattaya. Paid 1500b and finally got to Ptty around 4:00. Was a nice night and after a long flight, kickin back in a car with a few beers on the way to Ptty was very relaxing. Not much at that hour when i arived but there are after hour discos letting out. Of course there is always soi 8 if you have the energy,i know a bar at beach rd where a real cutie hangs out late( no she is not a katoey!). I just called it a night and woke up right where i wanted to be and immediately went to work. Either way you're in the LOS, you can't go too wrong. Have a nice trip. Cheers, B-Man!

I believe the buses don't begin departing for Pattaya until 6 AM, so your only options are taxi or limo.  Taxi cheaper but limos more reliable.

I will be arriving at about the same time on the 7th of March and plan on catching a ride to Pattaya that evening.  Which bars will be open at that time of night?
