I think he meant that Etihad is conducting operations from there on a temporary basis. They will eventually move to the new terminal currently under construction.

Interesting-not having been on Etihad since that Feb/March trip 2009 I thought the one they had opened was for Etihad operations only.......

 

Mind you their expansion has been pretty spectacular although not in profit yet I recently read on Business Traveller..
