Hi

Anyone ever heard of Pothivej Massage if so what kind of place is it, is it Tradition or Body and can youe get a good oil massage there, how it compare to Silom Sauna and Phaigirn.

Any info which is the best place and has the most to offer and what about prices.

Where is Pothivej I know where the other two are.

Many Thanks

I second the vote. I would also like to know more about the "traditiona massage places", are extras available and which places are friendly..

Thanks,

Based on the direction of the conversation, I think Pete would prefer that you move your question to the members section.

You may get your answers there.

:(

actually, i would really like to know about the traditional massages. I've got a ton of stress built up in my neck and shoulders. I figure a daily massage during my trip should take care of that until I get on the plane to go home....sob!

10 days till I'm "home" again.

Patk,

It is on 2nd Road opposite Soi 1 (between Big C and Hollywood) and is "thai traditional".  I used it once and wasn't over enthusiastic about the place - they just seemed to want your cash and disregard any info about any aches and pains you might have wanted them to work on.

I preferred the massage in the Dusit Resort in Pattaya (pricey, but I think it was worth the extra) and at Wat Po in Bangkok.

Regards,

Tom

Had a traditional Thai massage at a place on 2nd rd just south of Kiss restaurant. Paid i think b400 for a 2 hr massage. The woman was in her 40's and really good. I told her about a knee problem i had which she really didn't seem to understand till she got to it and felt it. Then she held up a finger as for " one minute" and came back woth some Tiger Balm and a little Thai magic and it has never felt better, that was almost a year ago  :D. Would definitely go back there next time. Hope that helps. Cheers, B-Man!
