Air Courier Information Please

Recommended Posts

Last year on the old board, someone posted a URL for an air courier information site ... and I cannot find the site or the paper with the address.

Does anyone have any good insider information or URLs which point to same?

TIA.

Thanx Hubs, I am looking at joining one of the courier lists so that I can get out to LOS sooner, rather than later - I heard of others using this method so they could have 2/3 trips each year. I have just started my own express delivery [road] company and having the air side might be a positve thing.

BTW, I'm based just 12 minutes from Cardiff International Airport - unfortunately, the BA courier flights are from Heathrow. That was why I hoped someone have better/more practical experience of air-couriering to LOS to help avoid any potential pitfalls.

I'll check out the URL.

Thx again.

Rhoel,

I've done the courier trip with BA a couple of years back and it is quite easy. It was £300 for a 14nt R/T and you just check in at the desk they tell you and they gave me a bundle of documents to hand in at Bangkok and I had a normal baggage allowance. On the return it was the same and that's all there was to it, obviously the ticket was fixed date and I had to wear a shirt and trousers and not dress like a scruff.

But for the saving on the ticket it was well worth it and I'd certainly do it again.

Regards,

Richard.
