I've been quite ill with bronchitis lately, had it twice in 2 months, I used to smoke 30 a day so decided to try and stop smoking, I'm now smoking e cigs, sky cig is the name of the company, it costs me about half of what smoking did and I'm amazed, they really work.

I heard that they are banned in some countries which amazes me, anyone know if they are allowed in Thailand? I've heard there can be some problems as the cartridges look similar to bullets on the x ray. Has anyone had any experiences with them in Thailand?

On a side note, if you are trying to give up go to Skycig.co.uk if u are from USA I here that blue cig is the same product.

I most certainly have seen them being used....... not by many I might add.

No knowledge of them being banned here.... but would it matter if they were?

Good luck quitting.

Well thanks for the information.

A fun read.

I thought I spotted a lurker in Mistys when I saw Andy and PSP using these E-cigs. It must have been the doctor supervising them.

I've been on http://www.v2cigs.com/ for almost three months. I've had about four "real" cigarettes in that time. You still get the nicotine -- which isn't great for you -- but you don't get the tar, carbon monoxide, etc. It's worth a shot if you've had trouble quitting in the past.

Here's a code for 15% off a V2 starter kit if you're interested: 645999.

I switched from roll ups to Sky cig in Jan and used it during my Songkran trip, it certainly gets the girls attention, i had 6 semi naked beauties crowded round me in one agogo for a look at it.

Take plenty of refills as Sky cig brand is not available in Thailand or refill them like i did, i got e juice from here - www.liberty-flights.com.

Moved onto a low nicotine caramel flavour liquid after about 7 weeks on them and now have been off them completely for 3 week very easily.

Allready given my kit away as no intention of going back on them.

I actually had no intention of giving up but thought i would just try them as a healthier alternative and ended up preferring them.

It amazes me how they are not allowed to advertise them as a cessation aid, stopped me smoking in 4 months without even trying.
