You will be bored and likely put off by some bad attitudes in Pattaya. Gone are the (real) smiles. Try meeting some office girls in Bkk (while staying there) and enjoy the lush green grass in one of the many city parks. Or better yet, get a girl in Philipines and bring her to Thailand. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!

The only place you will likely get mobbed in attention and that "girlfriend experience" like you'd get in philipines, is at Bamboo Bar off Walking Street where most of the girls are over 30 years old. Not all are prostitutes but YMMV.

I know where both are, how far apart would they be then ? 50 meters maximum , my point is they are so close i wouldn't be choosing one over the other becuase its in a better location. Either way all three hotels would be perfect for the op.

I love a challenge. You went from 20 meters to 50 meters max...okay, I measured it via google earth...giving you the benefit of the doubt...I measured from the easternmost tip of the front of the Areca to the westernmost tip of the parking lot of the Metropole and the result is shown highlighted (about 85 meters).

It's obviously less if you can use a worm hole, I will give you that. :P

I was basing my estimate that i could drop punt a footy from one hotel to the other, at 84m it would probably be a torpedo

Too much thinking, too many options, both hotels are good. Makes me frustrated.

I choose Areca becouse much better pool. Gym is decent and most of my workouts i shall do with the girls.

4 weeks is fine. I will not shorten it. I suppose it's better to go, do an be, thank thinking too much!

If i get bored it will be my own fault, there should be plenty of activities and i dont have to rush, i got plenty of time!

I think i will love the place and for sure will be kicking myself to head if i take 2 or 3 weeks and leave that place too early.

I will spend whole september there. I know it's not the best time (low season and so), but it's the only change i can go. And i'll go. This is final =)

After 3 weeks i go back to Phuket for 2 weeks (booked this trip long time ago) I really love phuket and i have heard that Pattaya is like Phuket, but 10x bigger. So i'll be fine in there! But the Bangkok will be maybe too big city for me. Anyway i will make short city wandering there too.

I gave up choosing hotels a long time ago , too many options and opinions was driving me crazy i stay at the same place every time now, i like it and dont care if their is something better 100 baht a night cheaper etc etc

Its a good choice, have stayed there myself, if it was in a place like Angeles or any other tourist city in the world people would rave about the place becuase top class accomadation is so cheap in Pattaya you get so many varied opionions. For a first timer its a good safe bet

There is no bad time to go to Pattaya, like hotels you will get varied opinions on when is the best time but anytime is a great time

Pattaya is 10-20 times the p4p of Phuket, Pattaya is very easy to navigate, the baht bus system is excellent and cheap

Actually, if you went front door to front door, you'd have to beat that kick!
