Does anyone have a recent review of the Weekender?  The reviews on the site are dated. I am thinking of staying there when I get to Pattaya in March because I like the fact that it has a gym to workout in and it's close to everything like massage parlors, Big C, etc.  Last time I stayed at Sabai Lodge and although I liked it a lot, I don't like passing all the bar girls everynight with a different girl . . . especially when you were with one of them the night before.  Thanks . . .

I stayed at Weekender in July. Suite room plus buffet style breakfast was 700 Bt. Rooms need refurbishing and rumoured to be on the agenda. I'll be back in LOS in February and contacted Sabai Inn, Sabai Lodge, Sandy Spring and Weekender. All replied promptly except Weekender which is now Chinese owned. Looks like Sabai Lodge this time for me

Rooms have been in need of refurbishment for over 10 years now. Always promises from various owners over the period to do so, but nothing happens. Plumbing (Flooding) is diabolical and A/C crap. Expensive too. There are a lot more places now in the Soi 3 & 4 areas (opposite Weekender site) that are far better for both value and standards.
