Anyone know if The Pig & Whistle has Safe-depo

Does anyone know if the Pig & Whistle has in-room safes or safe deposit boxes? Tried emial but they can take a couple of days to reply.

yes, they have in-room safe deposit boxes.Although they are small,but ok for passport, money,etc. i think you would struggle to fit  a laptop in.

I stayed at the Pig & Whistle awhile back and the inroom safe was nothing more than a wooden lockbox located within the headboard.

 

Things may have changed since my last visit

yes they have changed, now they have steel combination safes.

Thats cool, I was going through several senerios in my head about a wooden one in the headboard. Usually the bed end up in the middle of the room, sans headboard.

I just read a trip report (either here or on OFBs Board) that there is contruction going on at or beside the P&W.

 

The guy who posted walked to the Flipper the next day as the water & power were off & on at P&W.. Due to constuction.

 

You may want to look into this before you head out..

Yeah, I saw that too. I'm kind of stuck the first night as it will be 1:30am but I have some other options availible. Thanks for the heads up!
