Agent007 has it dead on. I prefer to have them out no later than 11:00am, so between 9:00am and 10:00am is perfect. I do take them for breakfast and i like to be on my way by noon to walk around by myself.

Not on the beach, but if you are staying at a resort hotel with a swimming pool or 2 it should not be that big a problem. I stayed at the Siam Bayshore at the end of walking street and the Russian girls dropped everything (tops & bottoms) then layed on the deck chairs for a tan. Andrew.

cunny Not sure if you have payed a deposit or payed for your whole stay. If just the deposit stay for a few days then book into Queen Vic or there new venture Admiral Neilson both on Soi 6. Andrew.

1400bht a day for a room on Soi 6, for 700bht stay at the Queen Vic on SOi 6 in the penthouse. I would expect a lot more for 1400bht than a small cluttered room. And as a side note, i checked out the Villa and they want 5400bht a day. Again, not worth that kinda money to me. Andrew.

Well it might seem Pete has sold just in time. But then again out of the 101 businesses it would seem that the new walking street plans only affect 25 of them. Hope Martin and the FLB will be ok. Major plans are finally improved which will change the face of Walking Street and South Pattaya Beach forever. After many years of discussing plans to create a beach promenade behind Walking Street, the plans have now officially been approved. This meeting at Pattaya City Hall was chaired by Khun Watanna, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya and was attended by members of the 101 business club of Walking Street. It has now been determined that 24 buildings on the beach-side of Walking Street will be affected by the reclamation of land to construct the promenade. For 20 of the buildings, the overbuilt areas are owned by the City and not by the owners of the building so they will be removed with no compensation to the owners. The other 4 buildings do own the land and the city will initiate a compulsory purchase order in order for their construction plans to go ahead. We understand that this may cost City Hall around 30 million Baht although this figure has not been confirmed. City Hall estimates that the entire project will cost the City a massive 684 Million Baht to complete the 1 Kilometer long promenade. The new area will include a 10 meter wide footpath next to a 14 meter wide 4 lane road with provisions for car parking. The budget has now been approved but no details have been given as to when the construction will begin. We will of course keep you informed. Dog out..

A wire transfer sounds very odd. A CC# maybe and even then i wouldnt do it. Hi season or not. Id just drop in and you will probalby get a better rate on a drop in. Never heard of any hotel wanting a money transfer. Dog out.

Ive arrived at midnight, 11:20am and noon. All busy Lots of traffic. But travel time is always 1 hour 45 mins. With a smoke stop, cept last year. Driver let me smoke in the car. Ive never worried about traffic, just the way they drive Dog out.
