Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I know that it has been very quite in Pattaya so hotel rates are going to be low so dont let anybody tell you different. It seems that there are no tourists around, why, who knows. But I wish that I was there.

Guys on this board have reported a # of places are booked out. Do you know of any places that are available and the dates?

Booked out and guys actually turning up for bookings is a different matter.

This is why I can understand hotels wanting paying in advance as a way to guarantee the first night. People making multiple bookings and then not cancelling fuck things up for the rest of us.

Big D,

Check out the places that just recently opened or are scheduled to open prior to your trip.  Most people aren't even aware of their existence so your chances of finding a vacancy are good.

One of the situations is that the Hotels KNOW people are going to turn up on the door and then they can ususally hit them for higher prices, which is whay if you try and book for peak periods you will be told

Or aren't publicised on message boards or even don't have email booking facilities. I find these places are easier to book up also having someone or yourself even on  a previous trip book up in person tends to do the trick.

Maybe hotels are now sceptical of internet bookings because of the high number of non turn ups ?
