Any members flying Eva LHR-BKK in the next week or so?

Recommended Posts

When I fly Eva from LHR to BKK I usually book a lounge pass at LHR. Servisair can be booked for under £20, the lounge is not particularly good, but you can help yourself to drinks.:)

The Number 1 traveller lounge is much better but you have to ask for drinks from the barman, only single spirits served as well, OK if you are after better food though.

When Eva used the AA Admirals lounge you could buy a lounge pass from the Eva ticket desk and it was £40, far too much.

Now Eva are back using the (SAS) London lounge I could do with a member after checking in going to the ticket desk and asking how much is a lounge ticket, if it is under £20 I think it is worth buying one. The London lounge you help yourself to drinks as well.

When I come home from BKK I usually pay about 800 THB to access the Eva lounge which is very good. Although once I got food poisoning from either a sausage roll or cream cake. :)

I hope that someone can help with the request, TIA.

Cheers Nightrider, I have now edited my post to make my London Lounge request the (SAS) lounge which Eva previously used when Air Canada were their handling agents at LHR, I assume that Air Canada have again taken over handling Eva at LHR from American Airlines?

AA used to open check in 4 hours before the flight which I thought was great, as I like an early check in to beat the security queues of passengers going later to the sub-continent.

I booked my flight yesterday with West East Travel, £549.85 with Eva, outbound on 12th November.

Fares are probably going to be higher from mid November because it is The Ashes, Australia v England and many UK guys will be travelling via BKK.
