Where to buy a swim suit for a guy (farang sized guy)

When I took my stuff to the laundry I pinned a little note to the shirt collar saying 'would you mind using a little more starch here please?'

When I picked up the laundry there was a little note pinned to the lap at the back saying 'could you use a little more paper here please'.

I went to Big C near Sabai Dee et al, and found nothing at all. Not a size issue but a complete lack of men's swimwear. Lots of shorts but they would need underwear inside except maybe those really long board shorts. I was right on sizes, as the XL men's underwear said 35" on the package. XL large dogs maybe, large Westerners, no way.

 

Then I went to that fancy sporting goods store where there were a few but on sale THB3,290 and 2,800. Who pays $100 for a swimsuit?

 

So I asked the TG to find me one, and she took a pair of sport shorts with her to test waistband size. First stop Mikes, she calls me, THB1500, so we are down to $50. Still, Wal-mart sells for about $10 so I suggest a little lower.

 

At the store outside Mike's. THB 250 . And they are fine. 1/12th of the sporting goods store and 1/6th of inside Mikes. And $2 lower than Wal-mart. Mission accomplished.
