i will be arriving in pattaya in march.i am married to a thai.i will be staying in pattaya until my wife has her visa.but i dont know how long i will be there.ican anyone reccomend  the best value rooms between 8-10 thousand baht per month.thankyou

 Hey Ratshead, for that price and being there a month you may consider a Condo. 8-10,000 b per month should get you someplace decent at like Yensabaii, or maybe even View Talay towards lower season. Condos usually include maid service once or twice a week and free laundry. Also there are some good guest house type places just the other side of 2nd rd if you look up the sois. I assume the building between sois 1 and 2 your talking about is markland. I you see Lek at BJs restaurant a little further up she has some condos she rents some condos out for app. 750bt per night.If your going to be staying for some time you may get a better rate.Lek is BJs wife so she speaks good english or you could leave your wife to sort it out in thai with her.

Diana Dragon, located at the corner of Soi Diana and Soi Boukao Road, a short block off Second Road is worth a look.  This is a block behind the Diana Inn. The single testimonial in the FLB hotel section reminds me of recommendations a while ago as being a good budget hotel. Check it out at

The price is right: 6500B per month for a/c and 3800B per month for fan.  I like the central location.  :) :)  Chok dee!
