Mechanically Perfect -1999 VW Passat - 125,000 ONO

Recommended Posts

Second farang owner. I have over 300,000 invested in this car between the purchase price of 169,000 Baht and all the items I have replaced.
Car is Mechanically perfect. 141,000 ORIGINAL km.

In the last year, I have put in:
new window motors in all 4 windows
new shocks
new tires
New A/C
several new sensors in the motor etc
new brakes
new tie rods for the steering
new stereo system
new leather seat covers (Front Seats)
new battery
new lights (headlights, break lights, turn light assemblies)
new running lights

Receipts for all repairs / maintenance.

Has GPS navigation system with back-up camera.

Tinted Windows, Electric Windows and Mirrors, Electric door locks.

I change the oil every 7,000 km and use synthetic oil.

Tune up completed July 23, 2014.

There are a couple of scrapes on the body where a song tau scratched the paint when I was parked.

Runs great, shifts smoothly, cold A/C and very dependable.

Taxes and Insurance paid till March of Next Year (2015) - I live in Pattaya (Jomtien)

Can you link or copy the vehicle specifications here (engine displacement, horsepower, etc)?

NO, I can't. It has a 1.8 l, 4 cyl engine.

Any "LINKING" would just be what I could find on the interenet.

Manual or automatic shift?

Also, where do you have mechanical work performed?

Auto

Where do you see that?

I'd guess, by "shifts smoothly" it's manual.

Also, automatic is an optional feature, and this car looks like the basic model.

You can see the auto gear shift in one of the photos.

I am not sure which advert the buyer came from. I had ads on most of the boards, Craigslist, Bangkok Post, Trading post type sites etc.

He got a good deal, as I have over 300,000 into it.. 130,000 just in replacement parts..

Would have been an idea to ask him where he saw it advertised. Useful for next time you sell something and also good for the spot it was advertised on.

Glad you got it sold. Everybody's happy.
